The U.S. unemployment numbers are reported. The unemployment rate is 5.3 percent. It is reported unemployment has not been as good since 2008. The numbers do not account for the under employed or the non-employable.
There is a gain of 223,000 new jobs.
The persistent problem is that wages are flat. Low wages that remain flat do not boost the economy or spur economic development.
