“The zest for power can be a need for belonging and relationships. Each of us has a need to be wanted, respected and understood. This action even in its broadest sense could reduce the world’s pain and suffering.”
We all live in a complex world where it is harder to form relationships even though the need becomes more key to access, opportunities and information. The importance of belonging to one another strikes an accord and resides at the heart of being human and the step to humanity. When power is used as the relationship this is when we create small and larger monsters that threaten the peace and coexistence of others. When one belongs and feels a since of belonging there is connectivity that breads communication and society. As it was said and made famous by The Beatles, “All we need is love..” when this occurs it changes souls and the sense of community.
