As the production of natural gas soars the work of companies to offer solutions is key. The commitment of leaders in the field to take up the mantle of innovation and sustainable solutions are adding a new dimension to the industry.  The focus of  “Trillium CNG Customer, Dillon Transport, Wins National Award” on converting vehicles to natural gas.

“Natural Gas Vehicles for America (NGV America) presented Dillon Transport, Inc. a 2013 NGV Achievement Award for their Natural Gas Fleet Program Wednesday evening in Atlanta, Ga. The award recognizes them for their outstanding contributions toward the advancement of natural gas as a vehicular fuel. Dillon Transport is Trillium’s lead customer at the public access CNG station located at 4612 S. 50th St., in Tampa, Florida. Trillium CNG (TM), a business unit for Integrys Energy Group, Inc. TEG -0.02% , is responsible for designing, building, operating and maintaining the heavy-duty fast-fill station,” reports Market Watch.

“We’re buying 120 natural gas vehicles this year and we plan to fuel them at this station,” according to Jeff Dillon, president of Dillon Transport.”

Dillon Transport offered “since adopting compressed natural gas as a vehicle fuel in 2011, Dillon has replaced an estimated 16,500,000 gallons of diesel fuel with clean burning natural gas. Their commitment to natural gas as a transportation fuel has resulted in both cost savings and environmental sustainability benefits for shippers.”

It is important to honor the work of companies paving the way to new innovation and a dynamism that educates, develops and builds a sustainable ecosystem. When companies have a sustainable mission and service alignment the outcome is measurable and continuous.
