Government and national stoppage was averted as the “Senate reaches deal to end shutdown, avoid default“. Good news on the U.S. front as two parties met an agreement, finally. The government is back in business but were there lessons learned.
CNN reports the good news, “Senate leaders announced on today that they have reached a deal to end the government shutdown and avoid a possible U.S. default.”
Senate leaders came to a deal to “reopen the government and avoid a potential U.S. default as soon as midnight, sources told CNN’s Dana Bash and Ted Barrett.”
Now it is time to go to work as the government is back in business. The opportunity to grow the economy is the next focus.
