Today, kicks off IdeaFestival (IF) 2013. The IF was brain child of Kris Kimel, president of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation. The festival celebrates innovation, sustainability, artistry and concept to action formation.
The work of the presenters give boost and rise to what dreams-to-goal-then-action can produce when synthesis to community and knowledge delivers by filling the gap with new life.
The IF was “founded in 2000 to feed the “intellectually curious”. The IF brings together what they call “an eclectic network of global thinkers and one-of-a-kind innovators bound together by an intense curiosity about what is impacting and shaping the future of the arts, business, technology, design, science, philosophy and education”.
The need for innovation and new thinking is key to the work of sustainability to bring new ideas to process, systems and leadership to advance the cause of economics, social justice, science and technology that bridge the gaps that are needed. The IF is bringing world thinkers to convene where youth and people can talk and take by learning to plant new seeds.
The IdeaFestival will run from September 24-27 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts to support the mantra “Stay Curious”.
